Every July, Frank & Associates Plastic holds its Humanity Class Auspicious Month Blessing Ceremony. This year’s chanting focused on the Infinite Meanings Sutra, Chapter on Virtuous Conduct.
It was heartwarming to see that more colleagues sincerely and devoutly chanted along with the video of the verses. The third-floor Buddha Hall radiated brilliance, creating a solemn and majestic atmosphere.
A newly appointed supervisor shared: “In the past, I had occasionally read some scriptures but never felt much. Today, chanting together with everyone the verses of the Infinite Meanings Sutra, combined with watching Tzu Chi’s global and Chia-Nan disaster relief videos, stirred many emotions within me.”
This colleague added: “When I get home, I will find my copy of the Infinite Meanings Sutra and read it again.”
Over more than ten years of immersion in Tzu Chi’s humanistic spirit, the company has gone through many trials. Under the chairman’s guidance of upright thought and perseverance, colleagues have continued to follow Tzu Chi’s Dharma lineage in the workplace, cultivating a pure mind and practicing the path of benefiting oneself while benefiting others.
The chairman expressed gratitude and encouraged colleagues to take care of themselves, brighten their inner light, and bring “hope” to themselves, the company, and their families and friends.
He shared that no matter where he goes—even during overseas visits to customers, or like his recent trip to Taichung—besides meetings and industry exchanges, he naturally also promotes vegetarianism with success.
From 2009 until now, he has witnessed the company’s growth and felt deeply touched by the unconditional support from many kindhearted Bodhisattvas who appeared without being asked, helping both him and the company.
Gratitude was also expressed to Sister Ke-Ren from the community, who was woken early by a call yet promptly provided the inspiration of “Buddha Light Shining” along with urgently needed audio-visual resources.
Thanks to Sister Shuang-Yu for accompanying and joining the event upon request.
Thanks as well to photography master Sister Nancy Tu and Brother Huang-Ye Peng for their strong support.
And most of all, gratitude to all F&A colleagues for more than a decade of good affinities and shared efforts.
